This hiking tour in the Jebel Saghro massif, available from September to the end of May, is a 6-day trip with four days of walking, averaging five to five and a half hours of trekking daily. The pre-Saharan massif of Saghro, a volcanic landscape that reaches an altitude of 2712 meters, offers a unique and rugged beauty with its jagged plateaus, deep gorges, and towering rock formations. The volcanic geology creates spectacular “lunar landscapes” where you can see camel caravans and monoliths, all bathed in the warm light of the southern wind. This region is also a land of transhumance for the Ait Atta tribe, who can be seen with their Bedouin tents and herds of goats. The hike provides an opportunity to discover this dramatic and beautiful part of southern Morocco before the land gives way to the vast desert areas of the Draa Valley.
